Read device memory
Select the bus device or the module with a device memory. Then, select the 'Device memory' tab and the desired channel. You can now start reading the data by clicking 'Update' .
Please note that this function only displays the data on the screen, it does not import it to the SQL database..
Read device memory and save in SQL database
The function described below can only be configured for either a channel, a device, a bus segment or for an entire location. This way, you can read all device memories in one action if you want to. Automated reading is only supported in visual energy 4 but not in the Starter edition.
Select the 'Database' tab or either the location, segment or device. Then, select the desired memory type. To start reading the data and saving it in the SQL database, click the 'Update' button
