Data Protection Officer
You have the right to request information, correction, deletion or limitation of your personal data from us in accordance with the statutory provisions. We also provide your data in a structured, common and machine-readable format. If we use your data on the basis of your consent, you can revoke your consent at any time and request the deletion of this data. After revocation we will no longer use your data for this purpose. Should we have a legitimate interest in processing your data, you may object to this contact information. Irrespective of this, you can always contact the relevant supervisory authorities.
If your data is no longer required for the purposes mentioned or if its storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons, we will delete it. Excluded from this is only lawfully collected data which we are obliged to store for legal reasons. Please note that with each deletion, the data is initially only blocked and is then finally deleted with a time delay in order to prevent accidental deletions or possible deliberate damage. For technical reasons, data may be duplicated in backup files and mirrors of services. Such copies may also be deleted with a technical delay.
Provision of our website
You can visit our web pages without disclosing any personal information. Each time a web page is accessed, the web server only automatically stores the IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, data volume transmitted in each case, the website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface as well as the language and version of the browser software. This data will never be saved specifically to your person. This access data are evaluated exclusively in order to ensure the site functions properly and to improve our services. If the IP address is to be regarded as personal, it will be deleted at the latest after 90 days, if there are no other compelling reasons.
Use of Links
The website of the responsible body may contain links (links/references to other websites). If you follow one of these links, please note that these websites are subject to their own data protection declarations and the responsible body cannot assume any responsibility or guarantee for the data protection conditions of these websites.
If you send us inquiries via our contact forms or e-mail address on the website (e.g. to request information material or make inquiries), we process the data provided by you in order to be able to answer your inquiry. Longer-term storage only takes place as far as your inquiry requires it.
You can subscribe to our newsletter on our website to receive information about our products, services and events. We use your given data in the context of your given consent for the forwarding of our newsletter.
We carry out the registration via a double opt-in procedure. You will receive a confirmation e-mail after entering your data on our website. Only by clicking in the confirmation e-mail is the registration completed.
You can object to us sending you our newsletter at any time by e-mailing us or by using the designated unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
The newsletter is sent by the mail service provider "MailChimp" from the provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The Rocket Science Group LLC d.b.a. MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with a European level of data protection (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active).
The mail service provider can use the recipient's data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimize the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the service does not use the recipient data of our newsletter to approach recipients directly nor do they pass the information on to third parties. Further information on the data protection regulations can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. The newsletters contain a so-called "web beacon" or "tracking pixel" for the evaluation described above. During the download, technical information such as your browser and operating system as well as your IP address and the time of the download are collected. This information is used for technical improvement of the service, as technical data or target group data can be analyzed according to their reading behavior, their download locations (identifiable through IP addresses) or download times. Statistical data collection also includes an analysis of when the newsletters are opened and which links are clicked upon. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, we do not strive to observe individual users. Data analysis is used to recognize patterns in the reading behavior of users and adapt content accordingly or send different content according to our users' interests.
Right to Object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 (f) of the DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data in the event of a justified objection.
We use the tool Google Analytics from Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
Google Analytics uses text files stored on your device (so-called "cookies") to obtain information about your website usage. Google uses this information on our behalf to provide us with analyses of website usage, reports on website activity and other services. The data collected about your website use by means of the cookie is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on its server in the USA for analysis. It will not be merged with any other data that may have been stored about you at Google.
We also use the masking function "anonymizeIP". Before your IP address is transmitted to the Google servers in the USA, it will be shortened within the EU. The unabridged IP address is only transmitted in rare cases and is then shortened on the servers in the USA. You can prevent this processing by taking the following measures:
It is possible to set your browser so that no cookies are stored. However, this may mean that our website is not fully functional. Furthermore, a browser add-on from Google can be used to prevent data collection. You can find the add-on here: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
As an alternative to the browser add-on, for example if you use a smartphone or tablet, you can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by here. This sets a cookie that prevents the collection of data. If you visit our website again with a different device or browser or have deleted your cookies, you must set the cookie again.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
This prevents the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google.
Use of Kyto-GmbH
We use the analysis program Kyto (Kyto GmbH, Linienstraße 123, 10115 Berlin, https://www.kyto.de). Kyto makes it possible to measure and evaluate usage behavior on our website. The information we receive about your visit to our website is transmitted by Kyto in Berlin and stored there.
If you continue to use our website, you agree to the above-mentioned processing of the data by Kyto and its third-party providers within the scope of their data protection declaration. Further information and Kyto's current data protection regulations can be found here: https://www.kyto.de/impressum/
Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
We use the Google's Adwords conversion tracking function (Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
Google Conversion Tracking allows us to track what happens after a user visits our ad. For example, to find out whether a product is being purchased or to subscribe to our newsletter. By clicking on our Google ad, a cookie is stored on your device to enable this feature. A personal reference is not created. In order to prevent cookies from being saved for conversion tracking, you can make the appropriate settings in your browser. Further information on conversion tracking can be found here https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722022?hl=en
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a solution with which we can manage so-called website tags via an interface (and thus integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering, for example). The Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) does not process any personal user data. With regard to the processing of users' personal data, reference is made to the following information on the Google services. Usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
Weitergabe von Daten
We only pass on information to third parties to the extent described in this data protection declaration. For more effective management, data is used within the company or by contractors.
We reserve the right to adapt or change this Data Protection Declaration at any time with effect for the future. The latest version is available on the website.
