The multisys D2-1DI2DO pulse doubler splits the pulse output of an electricity meter in order to be able to connect 2 pulse meters.
Counters and measuring devices for various media usually have a pulse output that outputs pulses proportional to the energy. This standardized (EN 62053-31) S0 hardware interface is used, for example, to transfer consumption measurements to building automation.
But not only the BMS or ZLT needs this impulse, PV systems, energy data management systems, heating controls, CHP, energy optimization systems, etc. also access this impulse.
What to do if the impulse is needed but it is already “occupied” by another system?
The “impulse doubler” from KBR helps here. The electronic coupling stage is a top-hat rail device for standard rail mounting with 2 division units. It has an input for the S0 pulse and two potential-free S0 outputs. The power supply is already integrated into this device and is connected directly to 230 V. Ein externes Netzteil entfällt somit.
Installation and connection is easy as no programming needs to be done.
Application examples:
S0 pulse from the utility meter simultaneously for two pulse sensors such as:
- Control technology
- Energy optimization
- Energy data management
- Data logger
- etc.
