Press release: Speed dating with a difference. Schwabach-based family business KBR GmbH is breaking new ground in the search for personnel with job speed dating.
Schwabach, 22 June 2023 – KBR GmbH hosted its first Job Speed Dating event in Schwabach, which attracted interested parties from the region. The event, which took place at KBR headquarters, offered participants a unique opportunity to explore the various job opportunities and network with the team in a short space of time.
The job speed dating event was organized by KBR GmbH, a leading company in the electrical engineering sector that specializes in solutions for operational energy management. With the aim of attracting skilled workers from the region and offering them a variety of employment opportunities, the event was designed as a dynamic format in which HR managers and applicants came together in brief discussions.
After a warm welcome at the entrance and an entertaining introduction by the HR officer, the participants were able to talk to the KBR team in a relaxed atmosphere. During these speed dating rounds, applicants had the opportunity to introduce themselves to HR managers in short, concise conversations and learn more about the job at the same time. The main topics were the focus of tasks, team atmosphere and personal development opportunities. The KBR training team in particular was in high demand and well attended.
Jessica and Simon – the successors to the entrepreneurial family – also gave a presentation on facts, figures and KBR’s products. Afterwards, the Managing Director of KBR GmbH, Achim Tempelmeier, gave all interested parties a tour of the plant.
This intensive interaction enabled interested parties to present their skills and experience and at the same time learn more about the potential employer.
Achim Tempelmeier was delighted with the interest shown by the participants and emphasized the importance of such events for creating jobs and expanding the regional labour market: “It is important for medium-sized companies like us to find more qualified specialists in order to remain competitive. Especially now that our products for recording and optimizing energy consumption and costs are experiencing such strong demand, we want to secure Germany as a production location.”
All in all, the KBR GmbH Job Speed Dating in Schwabach was a successful event. It provided an effective platform for a relaxed exchange between jobseekers and the company.
